In this role, you will:
Lead and continuously improve the company's safety programs, policies, and training initiatives.
Foster a culture of safety by partnering with leaders across the organization to identify risks and implement practical solutions.
Manage the company's fleet program, including driver onboarding, vehicle assignments, compliance tracking, and fleet performance.
Monitor driver qualifications, Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs), telematics, and DOT compliance requirements.
Investigate workplace injuries, vehicle accidents, and safety incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Administer Workers' Compensation and automobile liability claims while coordinating return-to-work programs.

Oversee fleet maintenance, vehicle registrations, inspections, repairs, and lifecycle planning.
Build strong relationships with vendors, repair facilities, and service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective fleet operations.
Prepare regulatory filings, compliance documentation, and executive reporting related to safety, fleet, and operational performance.
Provide guidance and support during fleet emergencies and safety-related incidents as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-4 years of experience managing safety programs, fleet operations, or a combination of both.
Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Experience administering fleet management systems, driver qualification programs, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with employees, managers, vendors, and external partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fleet, safety, or compliance management systems.
OSHA 30 certification or other professional safety certification is preferred.
We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; pet insurance; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability; a 401(k) with company match; profit sharing; paid holidays; and a generous paid time off program.
