Food and Beverage Server/Bartender

Description

We are looking for a friendly and service-oriented Server/Bartender to join our team at Minnesota National. This role involves providing excellent customer service, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner
• •Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• •Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following state and local regulations
• •Ensure the bar and dining area are clean, organized, and fully stocked
• •Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• •Check identification to verify legal drinking age when serving alcohol
• •Engage with guests, provide recommendations, and enhance their overall experience
• •Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and promotions
• •Assist with event service, including golf outings and banquets, as needed
• •Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Job Type: Seasonal or Year-Round (depending on availability)

Hours: Flexible shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Compensation: Hourly wage plus tips

Requirements

• •Must be at least 18 (or 21, depending on state alcohol service laws)
• •Previous experience as a server or bartender preferred but not required
• •Excellent communication and customer service skills
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• •Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
• •Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• •Knowledge of basic bartending and POS systems is a plus
• •Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
