THE JOB:

As a Food Runner for Bavette's Steakhouse at Park MGM , you will serve our guests with courteous, prompt, and polished table side service, bringing the vibrant energy of our sultry, jazz-era parlor to life with every plate delivered. By thoroughly understanding the fine details of our premier menu, you will describe each exquisite dish in a detailed and enticing manner, answering guest questions with confidence and working hand-in-hand with your team to maintain Park MGM's refined, non-smoking hospitality standards

THE STARTING RATE: $16.637 USD Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• •Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome
• •Expedite food from the kitchen to the table as dictated by sequence of service and by the Chef or kitchen expediter
• •Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes
• •Describe menu features as needed (include changes and additions)
• •Communicate with expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position
• •Perform assigned open and closing side-work
• •Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen, inform management of guest reaction and comments and assist management to ensure smooth operation and quality service
• •Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• •Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• •Must be 21 years of age or older
• •2+ years of prior relevant Food Running experience preferred
• •1+ years of prior relevant Food Running experience in a Fine Dining, Upscale, or similar High-End restaurant preferred
