Job Overview:
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across all our kitchens and facilities. You will conduct audits, monitor processes, and ensure strict adherence to FSSAI, ISO, and GFSI standards while maintaining detailed documentation and corrective action logs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit & Compliance: Conduct thorough walkthroughs of restaurants to evaluate sanitation, pest control, equipment maintenance, and food handling practices.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure compliance with FSSAI Schedule-IV, ISO 22000, and other relevant food safety standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports and maintain non-conformities logs with corrective and preventive actions.
- Records Verification: Audit records regarding temperature logs, receiving, storage, and staff training to ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, or GFSI standards.
- Operational Coverage: Conduct audits across food manufacturing plants, catering units, central kitchens, and cloud kitchens.
- Audit Execution: Conduct 20 main days’ audits and maintain accurate audit logs and records.
Requirements:
- Education: B.Tech/B.Sc or M.Tech/M.Sc in Food Technology.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, regulatory enforcement, and auditing.
- Certifications: HACCP training and/or Lead Auditor certification (ISO 22000/FSSC 22000) is often required.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of FSSAI Schedule-IV & ISO 22000 standards.
