Position Summary:

The Food Service Team Member is responsible for executing high-quality food preparation and service in a fast-paced convenience retail environment. This role supports the daily production of grab-and-go and made-to-order food items while maintaining strict standards for food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Execution

• •Prepare, cook, and assemble food items according to approved recipes and portion standards
• •Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
• •Maintain product quality, presentation, and speed of service
• •Support hot and cold grab-and-go food programs

Food Safety & Sanitation

• •Follow food safety regulations and company policies
• •Maintain proper food handling and storage procedures
• •Complete required food safety training
• •Maintain clean and sanitary workstations

Cleanliness & Facility Standards

• •Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• •Maintain back-of-house cleanliness
• •Report equipment or sanitation concerns

Safety & Compliance

• •Follow workplace safety procedures
• •Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards

Teamwork & Customer Focus

• •Work collaboratively with team members
• •Assist during peak periods
• •Communicate effectively with supervisors

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• •QSR or commercial kitchen experience
• •Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
• •Reliable transportation
• •Flexible schedule

Preferred

• •Food Handler certification
• •Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• •Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• •Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
