Fork Truck Driver - 3rd Shift

Amentum is seeking Fork Truck Drivers for our 3rd Shift industrial maintenance team in Miami, FL!

Typical work schedule is Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM; hours may vary based on business demand.

Essential Functions:

• •Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items.
• •Transporting materials from one location to another inside and outside of facility.
• •Maintain professional and courteous customer relations including, client, vendor, and internal team.
• •Actively participate in safety meetings. Maintain safety work practices as define by Amentum
• •Communicate and advise MHE related concerns to fellow employees and management.
• •Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor/lead.

Minimum Requirements

• •High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• •Must have previous fork lift operation experience and be able to pass fork lift certification.
• •Must have working knowledge of power and hand tools used in building and assembling boxes.
• •This position will require a valid Driver’s License

• •This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.

Physical Requirements:

• •Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• •Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
• •Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
• •Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.
• •Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.
• •Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.
• •Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
• •Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.
• •Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
• •Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
• •Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

Other Attributes:

This position may require various shifts, weekends, holidays and alternative work schedules. Must be willing to work overtime when required.
