Forklift Operator (Day Shift)

Description

Our Warehouse Technicians/Forklift Operators are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving materials, staging shipments, operating RF scanners, and supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. This role requires safe forklift operation, material handling experience, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Pay : $18.50

Shift : Day shift on 2-2-3 schedule (7:45am-8:00pm)

Requirements

• •High school diploma or GED equivalency
• •Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment
• •Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office.
• •Experience with databases and tracking software.

What You Will Do:

• •Loading and unloading trucks
• •Move raw materials, finished goods, and scrap material within the plant
• •Ensure items received are in good order and correct.
• •Complete lift truck inspections.
• •Ensure all packaging meets the quality standard and repair as needed.
• •Process all shipping documentation.
• •Inspect, stage, scan, and load outbound finished product shipments.
• •Must be safety conscious and follow company safety procedures
• •Operate RF Scanners

Physical Requirements:

• •Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
• •Stand and walk for extended periods
• •Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• •Work around varying temperatures
• •Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus
