Forward Deployed Software Engineer

Your Role

Partner closely with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable technology solutions.

Design, build, and deploy production-grade applications that leverage AI, data, and cloud technologies to create measurable business value.

Work directly with client stakeholders, product teams, AI engineers, data scientists, and solution architects to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Rapidly prototype, iterate, and productionise solutions based on user feedback and evolving business requirements.

Serve as a trusted technical advisor, bridging business needs and technical implementation.

Invest continuously in building and extending your technical, consulting, and domain expertise.

Requirements

Software Engineering & Development

Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building scalable, production-grade applications.

Proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Node.js.

Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.

Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is advantageous.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of scalability, reliability, and distributed systems.

AI & Data Applications

Experience integrating AI, GenAI, or machine learning capabilities into business applications.

Familiarity with platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, LangChain, or LangGraph is advantageous.

Ability to collaborate with AI Engineers and Data Scientists to productionise AI solutions.

Client Delivery & Consulting

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver solutions in ambiguous environments.

High ownership mindset with a track record of driving initiatives end-to-end.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences.

Ability to quickly understand client challenges and translate them into practical solutions.

Comfortable engaging clients directly.
