We are hiring a Health Services Director to join the team!

Our Health Services Director:

• •Supervises all healthcare personnel to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures.
• •Supervises medication room, the LPN, Nursing Assistant, Medication Assistant/CMA, and Health Services Associate.
• •Plans, implements, supervises, and schedules nursing services.
• •Provides intervention to respond to emergencies and problems.
• •Maintains medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies.
• •Assesses residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care.
• •Administers and coordinates medications of residents, serve as community’s Registered Nurse, order medication and refills.
• •Works closely with residents and families to develop & implement appropriate care plans.
• •Assists residents in medical appointments and coordinate required transportation.
• •Participates in rotation of on-call duty.
• •On occasion, may supervise licensed nurses and nurse’s aides.
• •Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed!:

• •Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in state of Washington.
• •Minimum of two years’ experience in Nursing.
• •Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care is preferred..
• •Excellent written and communication skills.
• •Ability to work in a consulting role on a regional and facility level.
• •Strong leadership and teaching skills.
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.

Physical Requirements include:

• •Lifts up to 100 lbs. occasionally
• •Carries up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• •Pushes and pulls up to 100 lbs. occasionally
• •Climbs, reaches, bends, and twists occasionally
• •Talks and listens occasionally
• •Sits 4 hours per day; stands and walks 4 hours per day (combined) – 8-hour day
