Job Description:
- Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and reliable Front End Mechanic to join our team at CROWN Bevcan France SAS. This role involves maintaining and repairing front-end machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency and product quality within our manufacturing facility.
- Job Responsibilities
- * Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of front-end production machinery, including presses, decorators, and related ancillary equipment.
- * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on front-end equipment and implement effective repair solutions.
- * Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- * Install, adjust, and calibrate new or refurbished machinery components.
- * Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment problems.
- * Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- * Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- * Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- * Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new equipment.
- Job Qualifications
- * Proven experience as a Front End Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the can-making or packaging industry.
- * Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- * Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- * Relevant technical certifications or vocational training are highly desirable.
- * Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
