Job Description:

Job Summary**

CROWN Bevcan France SAS is seeking a skilled Front End Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety.

Job Responsibilities**

  • * Execute routine preventative maintenance on front-end production machinery, including but not limited to presses, scroll shears, and associated conveyors.
  • * Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • * Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • * Perform adjustments and calibrations to machinery for optimal performance and product quality.
  • * Troubleshoot electrical and control systems related to mechanical functions.
  • * Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
  • * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • * Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
  • * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
  • * Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.

Job Qualifications**

  • * Vocational diploma or equivalent in mechanical maintenance, industrial mechanics, or a related field.
  • * Proven experience as a Front End Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the packaging or metal forming industry.
  • * Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical principles.
  • * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • * Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
  • * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • * Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • * Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • * Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
