Front Liner Import

1. Role Summary

Responsible for managing IMPORT operations, coordinating documentation, shipping, and customs clearance to ensure smooth international trade processes. Supports the IMPORT team in logistics, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Documentation Management

i. Prepare and verify all import documents accurately, including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and certificates of origin.

ii. Ensure all documents comply with regulatory requirements and company standards.

iii. Highlight discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.

B. Shipping & Coordination

i. Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs authorities for smooth shipment processing.

ii. Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery to clients.

iii. Assist in resolving any logistical issues that may arise during transit.

C. Regulatory Compliance

i. Ensure all IMPORT operations comply with local and international trade regulations.

ii. Support internal audits and maintain adherence to company policies.

iii. Escalate potential compliance issues to supervisors for corrective action.

D. Reporting & Record Maintenance

i. Maintain accurate records of all shipments, documents, and transactions.

ii. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on IMPORT operations.

iii. Highlight delays, discrepancies, or trends in reports for management review.

E. Support & Problem Solving

i. Assist senior team members in handling complex shipments or regulatory challenges.

ii. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.

iii. Provide updates on shipments, documentation status, and compliance matters.

3. Qualifications

A. Educational Qualification

i. Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.

B. Experience

i. 1–2 years of experience in IMPORT operations, shipping, or logistics preferred.

4. Skills

A. IMPORT Knowledge

i. Understanding of export-import regulations, documentation, and shipping procedures.

ii. Familiarity with customs clearance and freight forwarding processes.

B. Coordination & Problem Solving

i. Strong coordination skills to work with internal teams, shipping partners, and customs authorities.

ii. Ability to identify and resolve logistical or compliance issues efficiently.

C. Reporting & Documentation

i. Proficient in preparing reports and maintaining accurate records.

ii. Attention to detail to ensure error-free documentation.
