The Role

We are looking for a Functional Analyst with proven experience in Digital Assets, Blockchain, Tokenization, or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). This is a specialist role for professionals who have worked on financial services transformation initiatives in emerging digital asset ecosystems.

Digital Assets are reshaping the future of financial services. Tokenization, blockchain, programmable money, digital wallets, smart contracts, and stablecoins are changing how value is created, exchanged, stored, and managed across the industry.

At Capco, you will work with leading financial institutions on their Digital Asset transformation initiatives. As a Functional Analyst – Digital Assets , you will bridge the gap between business and technology, helping clients translate innovative ideas into scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.

Working as a consultant, you will contribute to transformation programs across banking, payments, capital markets, custody, and Digital Asset platforms. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business value.

Your Responsibilities

Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and solution requirements.

Design functional solutions and assess their feasibility, impact, and alignment with business objectives.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and developers throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Support system enhancements, testing, production releases, and post-go-live improvements.

Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment.

Ensure solutions comply with security, architecture, regulatory, and operational standards.

Contribute to the functional design of Digital Asset solutions such as tokenization platforms, blockchain-based workflows, digital wallets, and custody-related processes.

Support business and functional analysis for emerging use cases in Digital Assets, including settlement, issuance, transfer, and lifecycle management.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst .

banking, payments, capital markets, and insurance.

Proven experience working in Agile environments.

Experience in transformation or change initiatives with business and technology stakeholders.

Proven experience working on Digital Asset, Blockchain, Tokenization, or DLT initiatives is essential.

Functional & Technical Skills

Strong functional analysis and requirements gathering skills.

Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications.

Familiarity with UML diagrams, APIs, system integrations, and end-to-end solution design.

Ability to work with complex business processes and translate them into clear, structured functional documentation.

Understanding of digital asset ecosystems, tokenized asset workflows, and related financial services processes.

Digital Assets Knowledge

Knowledge of or experience with one or more of the following is considered a strong asset:

Blockchain

Tokenization

Digital Assets

Smart Contracts

Stablecoins

Digital Wallets

Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)

Cryptocurrency

Programmable Money

Custody, issuance, or settlement processes linked to digital assets

Soft Skills

Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented.

Comfortable working in fast-paced transformation environments.

Able to operate effectively in domains where requirements may be complex, evolving, and non-standard.

Languages

Professional proficiency in English.

Dutch is considered a strong plus.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.

Working Model

This is a hybrid role, and we expect the consultant to be present in the office at least two days per week.
