About the Role

TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Gastroenterology to provide virtual patient care. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with gastroenterology conditions through TeleMed2U’s established telehealth platform.

What you'll do

Conduct virtual evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients with gastro conditions such as but not limited to:

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

Dyspepsia and indigestion Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)Chronic constipation

Functional GI disorders

Inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis) – stable follow‑up

Collaborate closely with collaborating gastroenterologists and other members of the care team to ensure continuity of care and appropriate treatment planning.

Order and interpret diagnostic studies as clinically appropriate.

Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR).

Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.

Maintain compliance with all telehealth regulations, licensure requirements, and practice standards.

Qualifications

CA Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing.- Multiple state licenses a plus!

Minimum 2 years of Gastroenterology experience in outpatient or telehealth settings.

Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.

Comfortable practicing autonomously in a remote care environment.

Reliable internet connection and familiarity with telemedicine technology.

Competitive compensation - Annual salary range $115 - $140K with quarterly bonus; for 1099 per encounter rates.

Prefer W2 would consider 1099 for right candidate.
