The Alice Hyde Medical Center (AHMC) Gastroenterology team is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care to adult patients in Malone, New York .

This outpatient-focused role offers the opportunity to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of GI conditions while helping expand access to specialty care in the North Country and collaborating with providers across UVM Health.

Schedule

• •Full-time, 1.0 FTE
• •40 hours per week
• •Outpatient clinic setting
• •No call responsibilities
• •No weekend coverage
• •Telemedicine component serving New York patients

What You'll Do

• •Evaluate and manage adult GI patients
• •Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
• •Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• •Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
• •Coordinate care with GI specialists across UVM Health
• •Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and support staff

• What We're Looking For
• Required

• •Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State (or eligible for licensure)
• •Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience, GI experience preferred
• •Eligible for DEA registration
• •Strong communication and teamwork skills
• •Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred

• •NP Gastroenterology experience
• •Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Hospital Medicine experience
• •Interest in specialty GI care

Compensation

 $67.48- 89.97/hr.
