Job Description

GCC Transition Manager

Location :- Bangalore

Experience :- 12+ years

Your Role

Lead end-to-end transition and service takeover programs involving people, processes, applications, infrastructure, and operational responsibilities from client/incumbent vendors to delivery teams. Ensure seamless knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and service continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• •Define transition strategy, roadmap, governance model, and transition plans.
• •Manage transition scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
• •Lead transition kick-off workshops and stakeholder governance meetings.
• •Drive Knowledge Transfer (KT), shadowing, reverse-shadowing, and readiness assessments.
• •Ensure creation and validation of SOPs, runbooks, support manuals, and operational documentation.
• •Coordinate with client teams, incumbent vendors, SMEs, HR, security, infrastructure, and delivery teams.
• •Monitor service readiness, operational maturity, and transition success metrics.
• •Manage risks, escalations, and ensure smooth handover into steady-state operations.
• •Provide executive status reporting and stakeholder communication.

Your Profile

• •12-18 years of experience in Transition Management, Program Management, Service Delivery, or GCC setup initiatives.
• •Strong experience in large-scale transition and transformation programs.
• •Expertise in Knowledge Transfer, Service Transition, Governance, Risk Management, and Operational Readiness.
• •Experience working in multi-vendor and global delivery environments.
• •Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• •Good understanding of ITIL, Managed Services, and Service Management frameworks.

Good to Have

• •GCC setup and captive center transition experience.
• •PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or SAFe certifications.
• •Experience in cloud transformation and infrastructure transitions.
• •Exposure to organizational change management and people transitions.
