GCP Data Engineer

You will be:

Building and developing data pipelines and ELT processes.

Implementing Data Quality metrics in DBT.

Migrating Data Quality controls from the legacy environment.

Preparing mappings between existing and target solutions.

Developing controls using BigQuery.

Building repositories for Data Quality monitoring results.

Integrating solutions with GCP platform services.

Optimizing performance of Data Quality executions.

Supporting technical and business testing activities.

Contributing to technical and operational documentation.

Working closely with Data Modelers, Business Analysts, and Test Engineers.

Your profile:

Proven experience as a Data Engineer.

Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.

Experience with ETL/ELT processes.

Strong SQL skills.

Experience working with modern data platforms.

Experience with data migration and transformation activities.

Knowledge of Data Quality monitoring concepts.

Experience with system integrations and data processing workflows.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Experience with GCP, including BigQuery.

Experience with dbt Core.

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

Experience migrating legacy data solutions to cloud environments.

Experience in banking or other regulated industries.

Familiarity with testing and validation of data solutions.

Experience creating technical documentation.
