Our operations consist of Cafes, Catering and Restaurants serving 30000+ meals weekly.

Our location at California Baptist University in Riverside, CA, is currently looking to build our Food Service Team in the position of General Service Attendant.

Summary

The primary objective of this position is to provide support in various areas the dining room and the servery line. This is an entry level position with no previous experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• •Set-up and tear-down salad bar, dessert station, condiments, coffee, drinks and waffle bar.
• •Responsible for stocking all beverages, cereal, utensils, cups and bowls throughout meal periods.
• •Understand operation of drink machines, waffle equipment and soft serve machines.
• •Assist in assembling products to be prepared for meal service.
• •Replenish various food products in food stations.
• •Break down, clean and sanitize server and kitchen prep areas.
• •Follow proper portion control.
• •Dining room tasks include preparing setup and clearing of dining room tables for each meal
• •Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Physical Demands of the Job:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to: stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; pulling or pushing, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Pay Range: $16.90 - $17.90 per hour
