The Detroit Garage is hiring a motivated, dependable General Service/Lube Technician for our shop on Plymouth Road in Livonia, Michigan! General Service Technicians help keep our customers safe and their vehicles running reliably through routine maintenance and basic repairs. Our ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. We provide paid training and ASE testing reimbursement to help you advance your automotive career.

  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform oil changes, fluid services, tire installation, rotations, and balancing.
  • Assist with alignments, brakes, steering, suspension, and air conditioning services as your skills and training allow.
  • Inspect vehicles, document findings, and communicate recommended maintenance and repairs.
  • Complete work accurately and efficiently, following shop procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

1+ years of industry experience

Michigan State Certification (preferred)

ASE certifications (preferred)

Personal tools

Strong passion for completing quality work and providing exceptional customer service

Valid driver's license

JOB TYPE:

Full-time

PAY:

UP TO $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 + per year
