This opportunity entails being responsible for developing and maintaining geospatial solutions that support business operations and decision-making. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions using industry-standard and open-source geospatial tools. The role involves spatial data processing, map creation, and solution development, with a focus on learning and applying best practices in geospatial analysis, software development, and cloud-based GIS platforms. This role focuses on building foundational technical skills and understanding the software development lifecycle in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do:

• •Develops geospatial solutions using tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source platforms.
• •Creates interactive maps and dashboards using web technologies (Leaflet, Mapbox, etc.).
• •Processes and analyzes spatial data using Python, SQL, and cloud-based tools.
• •Supports and troubleshoots GIS systems and solutions.
• •Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• •Participates in Agile development cycles and contributes to team sprints.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Programming, Planning, Environmental Sciences, or related field, or
• •In lieu of education, 4 years of relevant experience.

What You'll Bring:

• •Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or R for geospatial analysis.
• •Exposure to open-source GIS tools (GeoServer, PostGIS).
• •Understanding of spatial data formats and standards (GeoJSON, OGC).

What We Prefer:

Internship or project experience in GIS or spatial analytics.
