Wir sind das erste, bereits 1904 gegründete Bildungszentrum für Glas in Deutschland und erschließen mit den drei Schultypen der Fachschule, der Berufsfachschule und der Berufsschule jungen Menschen ein vielfältiges Aus- und Weiterbildungsangebot. Die Glasfachschule Zwiesel befindet sich im Naturraum der bayerisch böhmischen Wälder nahe zweier Nationalparks an der Grenze zu Tschechien. Glastradition ist hier urkundlich seit 1305 nachgewiesen und bis in unsere moderne Zeit ein wichtiger Impuls für die Glasindustrie, das Glashandwerk und die Glaskunst geblieben.

  • Als Glasmacher fertigen Sie mit der Glasmacherpfeife unterschiedlichste Artikel wie Vasen, Trinkgläser, Geschenkartikel aber auch freie Objekte als künstlerische Unikate. Der Mangel an Nachwuchskräften macht diesen regional typischen Beruf wieder besonders interessant Die Faszination des heißen Glases und das Zusammenspiel von Form und Farbe prägen diesen kreativen Beruf.
