Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of a global category strategy for CAPEX and Facility management
  • Carrying out complex CAPEX/Facility Mangement tenders on a global level and supporting implementation in cooperation with the departments (Engineering etc.)
  • Supplier relationship management (contract management, supplier evaluations, benchmarking, and escalation management)
  • Ensuring achievement of Klüber savings targets
  • Supporting investment projects through TCO analyses, make-or-buy decisions, and investment analyses
  • Assisting with operational purchasing topics, such as invoice and goods receipt bookings, scheduling with suppliers, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing (experience in CAPEX, construction, and Facility Management environments is a plus), ideally with knowledge of SAP (MM module in S/4HANA) as well as Business Intelligence
  • Fluent in English and German, additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Chinese, or Portuguese) are a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly solution-oriented
  • Willingness to travel at least 30%
  • Strong customer centricity
