Job Description

We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Global HR Business Partnering team and support leaders across our Product and Product Engineering organisations.

This is a varied role. You will combine business partnering for a defined client group with programme, project and analytical support across the wider HRBP team. You will act as a trusted thought partner to leaders - providing coaching and constructive challenge on organisational and people matters. You will help drive the belonging and inclusion agenda across all HR levers (talent, reward, culture learning, etc) in service of creating a world class culture of talent.

You will also help the wider team operate effectively by anticipating upcoming requirements, simplifying processes, coordinating shared activities and using data to generate practical insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with leaders and develop a strong understanding of their business, people and priorities.
  • Provide strategic thought partnership, coaching, advice and constructive challenge, guiding leaders through organisational change and a wide range of people and business issues.
  • Support workforce planning, talent, compensation, performance management, calibration and other cyclical HR processes, ensuring clear communication, high-quality decisions and a positive stakeholder experience.
  • Drive the belonging and inclusion agenda across all HR levers in service of building a world-class culture of talent.
  • Partner with Regional HR and Employee Relations to guide first-line managers and employees on policies, people processes and complex people issues, including relations cases.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Excellence and other stakeholders to design, recommend and deliver relevant talent programmes and solutions.
  • Manage strategic projects and coordinate activities across the wider HRBP team.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, centralise and improve existing processes.
  • Analyse people data, using tools such as Workday, Excel and AI-enabled analytics, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
  • Help the team anticipate key deadlines, requirements and emerging priorities.
  • Lead or support M&A due diligence and integration activity as required.
  • Balance day-to-day business partnering with broader team and programme responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven broader HR experience, including a solid track record in an HR business partnering role, ideally at management level.
  • Experience working in a large, complex or matrixed organisation.
  • Strong relationship-building, coaching and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence leaders and individuals across the business and build credible relationships quickly.
  • Strong judgment and a balanced blend of business and people acumen.
  • Working knowledge of employee relations and the ability to advise on policy and complex people matters.
  • Experience delivering HR projects or programmes alongside business partnering responsibilities.
  • Experience building or improving processes and ways of working.
  • Strong data and analytical skills, with confidence using Workday or other HRIS, Excel and PowerPoint, and an interest in using AI tools to work more effectively.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • A high sense of ownership, urgency and drive, with a proactive, collaborative and low-ego approach.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Interest in learning about Product and Product Engineering functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting Product and/or Technology teams.
  • Experience working in both a large organisation and a smaller, faster-moving environment.
  • Exposure to mergers, acquisitions or organisational integration.
  • Previous involvement in workforce, performance or compensation analysis.
  • Experience leading or contributing to belonging and inclusion initiatives.
  • Experience supporting globally distributed teams.
  • Completion of an HR rotational or leadership development programme.
