JOB PURPOSE

• Support product approval of aftermarket steering & suspension product
• Work in collaboration with product line, purchase, supplier quality and external suppliers to plan and execute product development and validation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Accountabilities

• •Collate and record product attributes within the PADB (Product Attribute Data Base) and CCU (Carsource Catalogue Utility) for all new to range part introductions. Collate & update product data in NPI (New Product Introduction) workflow.
• •Collate, record and maintain Bill Of Materials within the CCU (Carsource Catalogue Utility) for all new to range part introductions and MCIP related activities.
• •Complete RFC (Request for Product Classification) across all new to range part introductions, support technical questions related to product specification for RFC completion.
• •Maintain engineering documents in designated repository’s – drawings, design validation reports, product images.
• •Support product engineering group with updates and revisions of engineering processes and procedures within the quality management system.

Key Competencies

• •BS in Engineering.
• •Knowledge and experience of automotive aftermarket is desirable.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills English.
• •Must be detail oriented with excellent organization and time management skills with ability to work independently.
• •Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• •SharePoint document library administration knowledge.
• •Ability to routinely work in a hands-on environment.
