Job Description
Purpose of the job
This is a hands-on, creative social media role for someone who loves creating content and bringing brands to life online. The Social Media & Content Executive will support the delivery of Priority Pass’s organic social media presence, creating engaging, social-first B2C content that inspires travellers, showcases destinations and experiences, and brings the Priority Pass brand platform to life.
The role will support wider brand, marketing and commercial objectives through social, working closely with Brand, Marketing, Product, PR, Partnerships and regional teams to develop content that aligns with campaigns, commercial priorities and the overall brand and social strategy.
The role will be responsible for taking content from idea through to publication, including developing concepts, writing copy, filming, editing, repurposing and publishing across key social channels. It will also support creator, UGC and influencer activity, identifying new and engaging ways to showcase the Priority Pass brand.
This is not a role where you’ll simply brief others to create content. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely hands-on, creative and confident getting stuck into the content creation process themselves.
The role will require willingness to travel internationally to capture content at lounges, airports, destinations and partner locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality content across Priority Pass airport lounges, travel experiences, global events and partner activations, bringing authentic traveller stories and experiences to life.
- Plan, capture, edit and publish engaging, social-first content, including video and imagery, across Priority Pass key channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Travel to lounges, events and partner locations to create both real-time and evergreen content, including short-form video and imagery, with the confidence to be the face or voice of the brand when required.
- Act as the on-the-ground content creator for the brand, identifying and documenting authentic traveller stories, lounge experiences and destination-inspired content.
- Turn campaigns, seasonal travel moments, commercial priorities and relevant cultural, social and creator trends into timely content that showcases the Priority Pass experience and membership benefits.
- Work from the monthly marketing planner to develop and deliver content, proactively identifying additional social opportunities and adapting or repurposing assets from regional teams and lounge partners.
- Work closely with Brand, Marketing, PR, Partnerships, regional teams and wider stakeholders to source stories, develop content and deliver against deadlines.
- Source alternative content where planned assets are not suitable for social, including identifying relevant UGC, securing usage permissions and repurposing existing Priority Pass content.
- Maintain a high-quality content library and identify opportunities to repurpose social content across wider marketing channels, including B2B.
- Use social performance and audience insights to understand what is resonating, make recommendations for future content, and support reporting where required.
- Contribute ideas to the wider social team, support B2B content and provide cover where required, ensuring content remains aligned with brand guidelines, legal requirements and platform best practice.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
- Experience working in social media and content creation, ideally within a consumer-facing, travel, hospitality or lifestyle brand.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences, formats and channels.
- Hands-on experience planning, capturing, editing and publishing engaging, social-first content, particularly short-form video and imagery, with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
- Confident using content creation and editing tools such as Canva and CapCut; experience with Figma or similar tools would be desirable.
- Comfortable filming content and appearing on camera or speaking in content, with the confidence to be the face or voice of the brand when required.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices, content formats and platform developments, with an awareness of current social, travel, lifestyle and creator trends.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write engaging social copy and adapt tone and messaging across different platforms.
- Good understanding of brand governance, copyright, image usage rights and content compliance, with the ability to ensure content meets brand and platform requirements.
- Experience using social media performance data and audience insights to understand content performance and inform future activity; experience with tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite or Jira would be desirable.
- Experience working with creators or influencers, and with global or multi-market brands and regional teams, would be desirable.
- Strong organisational and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, while proactively bringing forward ideas and taking ownership of work.
