- Own governance of Supplier Inspection processes, including source inspection criteria, incoming inspection standards, inspection plan requirements (e.g., level of inspection, sampling plans), and consistent deployment across suppliers and commodities.
- Ensure Supply Quality policies are deployed effectively and kept current with business and sourcing requirements and priorities.
- Enforce a zero-tolerance policy on critical quality concerns and drive proactive resolution of systemic supplier issues, with clear linkage to the Zero Defect Framework.

Cross-Electrification Coordination
- Coordinate closely across Business Lines on shared suppliers, ensuring consistent standards, aligned qualification status, and unified escalation paths.
- Establish regular operating reviews and governance forums to track suppliers performance and resolve across Electrification.
Supplier Qualification & Non-Conformity Management
- Own management of Supplier Regulatory Guidelines (SRG) and qualification audits; ensuring critical commodity suppliers remain fully compliant with the Supplier Quality Policy.
- Ensure gaps identified in supplier audits are closed with action plans, with no critical suppliers left without a compliance path.
- Act as the ultimate escalation point for major supplier non-conformances, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are deployed and linked to systemic root causes within the Zero Defect Framework.
Capability & Standard Work
- Define and own the SQE/SPE competency model, including training pathways and certification requirements.
- Identify training needs across the Supply Quality population, covering generic quality training (e.g., ISO 9001) as well as specific tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, and process capability studies.
