Position Description:

The Parts Advisor is responsible for selling parts and accessories to parts customers and actively solicits accounts.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• •GMC experience is a must **
• •Assist front and back counter, retail customers, via phone, email, and in person.
• •Build and sustain customer relationships with a friendly personality.
• •Promote all brands and programs to customers.
• •Working knowledge of the parts sales process from start to finish.
• •Document and submit a special-order request.
• •Excellent phone etiquette skills.
• •Other duties or projects as assigned by Management.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• •High School Diploma or GED required.
• •Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• •Self-starter, great attitude, high integrity, and energy.
• •Professional appearance.
• •Dependable transportation.
• •Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance helpful.
• •Effective analytical and communication skills.
• •Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
• •Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
• •Ability to work some scheduled Saturday’s.
• •Experience with a DMS system, preferably CDK, and MS Office Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred

All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to qualify for employment.

Pre-Employment testing includes a successful background check and drug testing.

Education/Requirements:

High school or equivalent
