Broad Bay Country Club is seeking a skilled and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and care of our golf course. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf course management, a strong background in turfgrass maintenance, and the ability to lead a dedicated team. As the Golf Course Superintendent, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our golf course and ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

Responsibilities:

• •Implement and execute effective turfgrass maintenance programs to ensure the health and appearance of the golf course.
• •Monitor and manage irrigation systems for optimal water usage and turf health.
• •Oversee mowing, aerification, topdressing, and other cultural practices to maintain course conditions.
• •Manage and maintain bunkers, greens, fairways, and other course features to meet or exceed established standards.
• •Lead, train, and motivate a team of groundskeeping staff.
• •Schedule and coordinate daily tasks to ensure efficient and effective course maintenance.
• •Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• •Assist in the development and management of the annual budget for the golf course maintenance department.
• •Monitor expenses and work within budgetary constraints.
• •Implement and promote sustainable and environmentally responsible practices on the golf course.
• •Stay current with industry trends and best practices in golf course management.

Qualifications:

• •Minimum of 3 years of experience in golf course management or a related field.
• •Strong knowledge of turfgrass, irrigation systems, and golf course equipment.
• •Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• •Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• •Proficient in budget management and cost control.
