The role acts as the primary point of contact for the Nominating Committee, delivering recruitment governance and administrative support to enable effective Trustee and Committee operations. The role may also provide support to other key governance committees and processes, as required.

The role plays a central part in coordinating the Nominating Committee’s global appointment processes and meetings, maintaining clear and effective communications across all timezones between Trustees, senior leaders and candidates and ensuring that the IFRS Foundation's governance framework operates smoothly and to a high standard.

The role operates across several high-profile and time-critical governance cycles, with appointments and onboarding activity requiring careful planning, coordination and delivery against fixed deadlines. The postholder will need advanced project management skills to manage competing priorities and fluctuating workloads across multiple parallel workstreams.

Principal accountabilities:

Provide proactive recruitment support to the Nominating Committee, enabling effective delivery of its mandate, objectives and work plan, as directed by the Chair of the Nominating Committee and Director of Governance and Trustee Activities.

Coordinate the administration of nomination and appointment processes for vacancies relating to the Trustees, Interpretations Committee, Advisory Council, IASB and ISSB Board members, and other related recruitment activity.

Manage the logistical and administrative planning of recruitment activities involving international stakeholders, including scheduling across multiple time zones, coordinating travel and venue arrangements where required, and ensuring smooth delivery of interviews, panel meetings and other recruitment events for globally dispersed candidates.

Manage termed appointments requiring careful tracking and renewal planning.

Manage key recruitment milestones, timelines and governance processes to ensure deadlines are met, working across multiple parallel appointment and onboarding cycles simultaneously.

Arrange and service recruitment-related meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, reports and action tracking.

Provide support for other processes within the Governance team, as required.

Skills and experience:

Experience providing recruitment support to boards, committees, governing bodies or senior stakeholder groups, ideally within a membership-based, non-profit or international organisation.

Experience coordinating complex governance, nomination, or decision-making processes involving multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines, across multiple timezones

Advanced project management skills, with a track record of delivering multiple concurrent, time-critical workstreams against fixed deadlines in a high-profile governance or similar environment.

Strong logistical planning skills, with experience coordinating activities across different time zones, cultures and jurisdictions for a globally dispersed stakeholder group.

Excellent organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and work confidently with leaders, senior stakeholders and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including international and remote stakeholders.

Comfortable operating in a global, fast-paced environment, with flexibility to accommodate varying working hours and cultural contexts as needed to support a global nominations process.
