  • Work with relevant authorities and utility providers on infrastructure requirements, including roads, electricity, water, gas, telecommunications, and wastewater services.
  • Identify and pursue available government investment incentives, tax incentives, and manufacturing support programs.
  • Coordinate submissions to relevant investment promotion and regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with conditions attached to approvals and incentive programs.
  • Monitor legislation, policies, regulations, and political developments that may impact manufacturing operations, industrial development, environmental compliance, utilities, and infrastructure.
  • Assess regulatory and policy developments and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare policy position papers, consultation responses, and advocacy materials and support engagement on regulatory reforms.
  • Represent the company in government meetings, consultations, conferences, and public policy forums.
  • Coordinate senior executive engagement with government officials and regulatory bodies.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and project teams on regulatory and government-related matters.
  • Proactively identify and resolve government-related issues that could impact project timelines.
