Division specifics about the graduate role

PB India Centre covers a broad range of roles across the Wealth Management and Retail Banking value chain. We have a long-standing association with global desks and provide high-quality outputs supporting the Global PB portfolio. We focus on domain expertise across the following critical areas:

Research (Thematic, Macro-economic, Stock), Investment Management (Idea generation, Term sheets), Content Management (Marketing Material, Pitchbooks)

Lending and Portfolio Management support: Credit review of Lombard and structured transactions, Real Estate Intelligence Unit, Subscription Financing

Business performance reporting and analysis, including forecasts and budgets

CLM & Coverage: Periodic and Event Driven reviews of WM Clients, Support to RMs and IMs

Resource Management (Headcount, Cost, Capital, Liquidity)

Strategy and Marketing: Competitor benchmarking and strategy presentations

Program Management: Drive global projects based on key priorities to address operational, strategic and regulatory topics. Effectively track and communicate program status, risks and dependencies

Risk and Controls: Risk Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Mitigation, Conduct, Supervision, Financial Crime Risk management, Operational Risk Governance

Strong Financial, Banking and Risk understanding

Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail

Use of MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is critical

Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Showing drive and initiative

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexible problem-solver, open-minded to receive input from colleagues

Ability to share and receive information, knowledge and expertise within the team environment

Ability to work within virtual global teams in a matrix organization and across all levels of management and staff

Exposure to AI, automation tools and emerging technologies will be an advantage (Copilot, Power Apps, VBA, etc.)

Knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau) and expertise in storytelling with data will be an advantage
