  • Location: UCEN Café – University of Michigan–Flint
  • Position: Grill Cook
  • Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Pay: $18–$21 per hour (based on experience)

Picasso Restaurant Group is looking for a dependable, experienced, and motivated Grill Cook to join our team at the University of Michigan–Flint UCEN Café!

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in preparing quality food, and works well with others.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items to order, including breakfast and lunch selections.

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.

Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.

Keep the grill station clean, stocked, and organized.

Assist with food preparation, inventory, and daily kitchen operations.

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

Previous grill or line cook experience preferred.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures.

Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
