Groundworker
Location: Milton Keynes
Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
Salary up to £30,962.61 per annum, plus company van & fuel card

We are looking for two experienced Groundworkers to join our Milton Keynes Voids Team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a local team delivering high-quality repairs and refurbishment services to housing properties while providing outstanding customer service. Working across unoccupied properties, you will carry out a variety of groundwork tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will take pride in delivering excellent workmanship while supporting the wider team to meet service and quality expectations.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Groundworker, you will undertake a range of repair, maintenance and refurbishment activities across void properties within the Milton Keynes area. You will work as part of a local team, ensuring work is completed in line with safety, quality and customer service standards.
- Levelling slabs
- Laying new paths
- Pathing and paving works
- Reinstatement and renewal of paving
- Carrying out repairs and refurbishment works to a high standard
- Using handheld technology to manage work orders and record activity
- Maintaining company vehicles, equipment and materials in accordance with company procedures
- Supporting health and safety compliance across all activities
Role Criteria:
- Groundwork experience including paving, paths and hard landscaping works
- Repairs and maintenance experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to deliver work to a high standard
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Social housing experience desirable
