What You'll Be Doing
- Support safe and efficient operation of the Hot Mix Asphalt plant through general labor and housekeeping activities.
- Perform cleanup around conveyors, crushers, bins, and other plant equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist plant operators and maintenance personnel with routine operational and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor work areas and report equipment, safety, or environmental concerns promptly.
- Follow all plant safety policies, procedures, and operational standards while working as part of a team.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial environment.
- Capability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn plant operations and equipment functions.
- Dependability, strong work ethic, and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
