We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Groundskeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining our Feedlot’s grounds, buildings, accommodation and infrastructure while working safely and efficiently as part of a team.

Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Groundskeeper to join our expanding business. Working on a 5:2 permanent roster , you will be a part of a team to operate the feeding facility near Moora, WA . This is WA’s largest feeding facility and is designed to supply Harvest Road’s processing facility, Harvey Beef.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this opportunity will suit a self-motivated person who is hands on and is passionate about the agriculture industry. You will have a strong work ethic and be willing to learn and contribute to the team.

You will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of the feedlot's grounds, buildings, accommodation, and infrastructure. This hands-on role performs grounds maintenance, general repairs, preventative maintenance, and site improvement works to ensure facilities are kept in a clean, safe, and professional condition while supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the business.

• •You will need to have a current driver’s licence and own transport.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• •Maintain grounds, gardens, and common areas to a high standard.
• •Perform general repairs and upkeep of buildings, accommodation, and facilities.
• •Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of site infrastructure.
• •Maintain fences, gates, pathways, and outdoor assets.
• •Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools safely, incl applications of basic herbicides with pressure sprayers or vehicle mounted spray units.
• •Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• •Assist with site improvement and maintenance projects.
• •Maintain a safe, clean, and presentable work environment.
• •Other duties as required.

Ideal skillset:

• •Previous experience in groundskeeping, property maintenance, farming, landscaping, or general handyman work.
• •Must have a current driver’s licence and own transport.
• •Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment.
• •Ability to perform physical work in outdoor conditions.
• •Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• •Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• •Able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• •Motivated and hard-working, willing to contribute to the Harvest Road team culture.
• •Possess sufficient fitness level to carry out required tasks.
• •Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment medical examination and criminal record check.

This integrated beef supply chain ranges from north to southwest of Western Australia and is based on best-practice ecological planning and animal welfare management.
