Do you enjoy understanding how businesses operate, identifying risks and turning insights into meaningful improvements? We are looking for a curious Internal Auditor who combines analytical thinking with a strong business perspective and wants to contribute to effective risk management, strong governance and continuous improvement across Alleima's global operations.
Placement: Stockholm or Sandviken, Sweden
- Your Role
- As an Internal Auditor at Alleima, you will be part of our Group Internal Audit function, working across different businesses, functions and geographical locations. You will contribute to independent and objective assessments of risks, internal controls and business processes, helping the organization identify opportunities to strengthen its ways of working.
In this role, you will combine analytical thinking and professional judgment with a collaborative and business-oriented approach. By engaging with stakeholders at different levels of the organization, you will gain a broad understanding of our operations and contribute insights and recommendations that create value for the business.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting risk-based internal audits, evaluating business processes, internal controls and compliance with relevant requirements.
- Analyzing information, identifying risks and improvement opportunities, and communicating findings in a clear and constructive way.
- Developing practical recommendations together with relevant stakeholders and following up on agreed improvement actions.
- Building strong working relationships across the organization while maintaining the independence and integrity required in internal audit.
- Contributing to the continuous development of internal audit methodologies, processes and ways of working.
The role offers an opportunity to work in an international environment, with regular travel to Alleima sites around the world. Through these interactions, you will gain valuable insights into different businesses, operations and cultures while contributing to the development of our global organization.
- About You
- You bring relevant knowledge or experience from internal or external audit, risk management, internal control or a related field, with a good understanding of how business processes, risks and controls interact. You are comfortable taking ownership of your work, from planning and analysis to communicating findings and recommendations, and are interested in looking beyond financial reporting to understand how organizations operate, identify risks and contribute to meaningful improvements.
You have a relevant university degree, for example in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience. Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA or CISA are considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
You have strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex information, identify relevant risks and translate your findings into clear and actionable recommendations. You communicate confidently in both English and Swedish, verbally and in writing, and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels.
Experience from a manufacturing or industrial environment is considered an advantage, as is previous exposure to global and multicultural organizations.
As a person, you are curious, structured and proactive, with a strong sense of integrity and professional judgment. You enjoy understanding how things work, asking thoughtful questions and exploring different perspectives. You have the confidence to challenge existing ways of working when needed, while approaching discussions with openness, respect and a genuine interest in finding solutions.
You value collaboration and understand the importance of building trust, while maintaining the objectivity and independence that are essential to the role. Above all, you are motivated by contributing to improvements that make a meaningful difference to the organization.
