LOCATION:
The Growth Manager is a remote, work from home position , as are all positions at Acceleration Partners (a structure central to our culture and our vision to change the work/life paradigm). Candidates must reside in the Mexico City, Mexico. Some travel is required, for client meetings or other internal meetings, conferences, etc. Candidates must hold a valid passport, be able to travel internationally and speak fluent Portugese. We are also open to candidates fluent in Spanish.
THE ROLE:
Acceleration Partners is seeking a Growth Manager to drive partner growth strategies for some of our largest and most complex client programs. In this role, you will identify, develop, and scale high-impact partnerships that drive measurable revenue growth and help clients achieve their business objectives. You will shape recruitment, activation, and optimization strategies, uncover emerging growth opportunities, and influence partnership roadmaps beyond traditional affiliate models.
TOP 5 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Revenue:
Publisher & Partner Performance: Contributes to client growth and retention by building high-potential partner relationships and optimizing performance.
Performance Trackers & Reporting : Follows client-approved processes for paid placements and partner optimizations. Uses reporting effectively, translating data into a clear story that shows clients not just what happened, but why it matters and what to do next.
Subject Matter Expert Across the Partnership Landscape: Is a trusted, knowledgeable resource on partner relationships and client verticals. Proactively leads conversations to share insights, adding value to the accounts they support and the broader department.
Business Development and Partner Relationships:
Proactive Research: Identifies and recruits high-quality partners with strong revenue potential based on client needs.
Written and Verbal Communication: Communications are clear, informative, and engaging. Asks relevant questions to vet opportunities effectively. Manages day-to-day communication with top partners in the program.
Initiative: Proactively identifies and executes areas of opportunity and optimization across the program to drive revenue growth.
Top Partner Management
Relationship Management: Optimizes opportunities with top partners on behalf of the client. Views themselves as a true extension of the client's business and maintains long-lasting relationships with key partners.
Budget Management: Identifies and acts on opportunities that drive client growth while maintaining a healthy return on investment.
Time Management: Demonstrates exceptional calendar and time management skills.
Strategy and Execution:
Alignment to Client Strategy and Goals: Participates in engagement kickoff calls and ongoing calls as needed; maintains a clear understanding of client goals and KPIs.
Creation and Ongoing Ownership of Partner Strategy: Builds a recruitment and/or paid placement plan end-to-end (from strategy through execution) based on client goals and KPIs.
Strategy Pivots: Adapts and pivots strategies to reach client goals, resetting expectations when needed. Pushes back constructively on unrealistic client goals while preserving trust.
Pitching Opportunities:
Client Education and Alignment: Clearly articulates the "why" behind each opportunity and its expected value, including anticipated ROI.
Persuasiveness: Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Regularly identifies, pitches, and secures approval for innovative opportunities, grounded in data.
Partnership Ecosystem Knowledge: Maintains deep knowledge across partnership types and applies that expertise to confidently address client questions and identify opportunities.
Tenacity: Proactively explores the reasoning behind a rejection, thoughtfully pushes back when appropriate, and has a track record of overcoming objections.
What Success Looks Like
By 6 Months: You've developed strong relationships with your clients and their key partners, and have a firm grasp on the recruitment and reporting process. You're consistently sourcing and engaging partners who can drive real revenue and scale for your programs, meeting partner outreach goals as well as recruitment and revenue goals. You regularly bring relevant new partner opportunities to your clients and help keep AP on the forefront of affiliate publisher and partner models. Clients see you as someone who brings ideas, not just executes on them.
By 1 Year: You're consistently meeting or exceeding your goals and have established efficient reporting and recruitment processes, along with best practices that benefit the broader team. You've built a reputation for identifying opportunities that drive considerable revenue growth and for collaborating with partners and clients to develop new activation tactics that help clients exceed their goals. You've also successfully identified and activated non-traditional partner types for your clients.

Strong aptitude for developing partner strategy informed by publisher business models and client objectives.
Builds new relationships quickly and establishes credibility fast with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
Comfortable operating independently in a remote environment, exercising sound judgment with minimal oversight.
Communicates with confidence, poise, and clarity, especially under pressure or in high-stakes conversations.
Thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment and brings their own structure and prioritization to it.
Exercises mature, measured judgment; solves problems independently but knows when to escalate or loop others in.
Takes full ownership of their work: consistently meets commitments and delivers quality without close supervision.
Minimum qualifications & skills:
2–5 years of partnership/channel marketing experience. Affiliate marketing background required; direct exposure to content partnerships, AEO, or retail media is a strong plus.
Demonstrated track record of self-generating new business.
Proven excellence in meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of affiliate networks, including Impact, Partnerize, CJ, and Awin.
Ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings, industry conferences, and events.
