Grace Adventures is a religious organization that makes employment decisions on Bible-based beliefs and practices. Because of the nature of our Christian program; Christian belief, character, and practice are essential requirements of employment positions.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Fulfill the ministry of Grace Adventures and it is our desire to be able to remove distractions so that people who come on to our campus can be impacted by Jesus Christ. As a member of the Security/Guest Relations team, you are responsible to help fulfill the mission of Grace Adventures by overseeing the guest experience related to safety, order, and after-hours operations. This role exists to provide a physically and emotionally safe, Christ-centered environment for guests and staff through relational enforcement of policies, visible presence, and calm leadership.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Dunes Harbor Campground Director

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Be prepared to work outdoors in whatever weather conditions are present.
• •Make frequent rounds of the campgrounds
• •Be approachable and available to serve guests and staff by answering questions and lending assistance as appropriate.
• •Aid in the care and upkeep of the pool facility
• •Aid in the care and upkeep of all buildings and Rental units
• •Ensure that buildings and facilities are secured at the end of each shift
• •Make detailed reports of guest, staff, and facility issues for the management team

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Display a Christ like attitude to staff and guests recognizing that our work is to serve God and not just people.
• •To serve guests by maintaining a standard of excellence in regard to care and cleanliness of all Dunes Harbor. facilities and grounds and equipment.
• •Understand Grace Adventure’s ministry and be supportive of its goals.
• •Serve guests and campground staff as needed.
• •Understand and enforce Dunes Harbor’s policies with guests and staff in order to create a safe and family friendly environment.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• •Minimum age: 21
• •This position works nights and weekends
• •Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• •Strong Worldview
• •An attitude of excellence in workmanship
• •Desires to be part of a team
• •A desire to learn and develop new skills
• •Self-disciplined and self-motivated
• •Ability to communicate well and effectively with coworkers and guests of all ages
• •Must have graduated high school
• •Good health and stamina are required to implement campground programming. This will involve long hours and lifting at times.
• •Must have a driver’s license and have a comfort level with operating grounds machinery and equipment

PREFERRED (Not required):

• •Experience in trades to help support in diagnosing and troubleshooting
• •CPR/ First Aid certification
