If you’re the kind of person who gets bored doing the same thing every day, you’ll love this role. You might be checking in a guest one minute, making an espresso the next, helping turn a room, or jumping in on a property project — every day brings something different.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Front Desk
- Welcome guests and members, ensuring a warm, responsive, and professional experience
- Manage check-in and check-out processes and support in-house guest requests
- Act as an ambassador for Gravity Haus, sharing knowledge of the property, amenities, and local experiences
Barista & Bartender
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and cocktails with consistency and attention to detail
- Open and manage tabs, process payments accurately, and maintain cash handling standards
- Make recommendations based on guest preferences and drive additional sales opportunities
Membership & Community Engagement
- Build relationships with members and guests to create a strong sense of community
- Support and promote on-site events, programming, and member experiences
- Create a welcoming, social environment that reflects the Gravity Haus brand
Operations & Team Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace across all service areas
- Complete daily side work and support opening/closing responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Be ready to jump in and support across departments as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in hospitality or customer service (hotel experience preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- A collaborative spirit and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Comfort using hospitality systems (PMS, OpenTable, Slack, or similar).
- A passion for the outdoors, wellness, and a sustainable lifestyle.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
