  • Job Description
  • Vehicle Systems covers the electronics, sensors, quality and supply chain behind the Zoox vehicle. Interns work on advanced hardware development, quality and reliability, or sourcing, depending on the team.Interns in this pipeline may be considered for opportunities across a range of teams, including:

Advanced Hardware Engineering: Develops the sensors, compute and electronics for autonomous driving, across firmware, sensor engineering, digital signal processing and hardware engineering. Includes hardware stability tooling and electrical stress testing with root cause analysis. Interns on this team will have to be available for a 6-month internship.

Quality & Reliability: Improves vehicle and supplier quality by investigating field failures, analyzing returned parts and reliability data, and supporting supplier assessments and part approvals.

Direct/Indirect Sourcing & Procurement: Sources the parts that go into and outside the vehicle, and supports strategic partnerships.
