About the role:
Haul Truck/Mine Equipment Operators are responsible for safely operating haul trucks to transport coal or rock, as well as providing operational support in an open pit coal mine. EVR provides structured internal training to support new employees and create opportunities for long-term career growth in the mining sector.
Haul Truck/Mine Equipment Operators are hired as permanent employees across all our mine sites and receive a competitive compensation package that includes base earnings plus benefits.
Schedule : 12-hour day and night shifts. Employees are assigned to one of the following rotations depending on site:
Fording River Operations: (effective January 6, 2027) 7x7 rotation (7 days on | 7 days off | 7 nights on | 7 days off)
Elkview Operations, Greenhills Operations, and Line Creek Operations : 4x4 rotation (2 day shifts | 24-hour short change | 2 night shifts | 4 days off)
