About The Role

The Head Gardener is responsible for the efficient operation of the Maintenance/Grounds department. This includes maintaining all resort rooms and amenities, at all times complying with OH&S Policies & Procedures. Other duties include but are not limited to:

• •Oversee daily gardening and grounds maintenance activities
• •Maintaining all resort equipment in working condition
• •Fostering positive relationships with guests and colleagues
• •Reporting of unsafe practices, incidents or accidents

Skills & Experience

• •Previous experience in landscape maintenance, with supervisory experience is desirable
• •Ability to perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and appliance repairs
• •Ability to use and care for tools and equipment
• •Desire to provide an exceptional customer experience
• •Ability to work in a fast paced environment and respond to emergency situations
