About The Team | The Team and/or Brand.

The Brand Marketing team for our CPG division develops and brings to market brand-led go-to-market narratives, editorial programs, sales materials, and proactive opportunities across the Lifestyle portfolio. In close partnership with Editorial, Sales, Sales Marketing, Content Strategy, Account Strategy, Design, and other internal teams, the group translates brand strengths, audience insights, and marketplace opportunities into compelling pre-sale materials and advertiser-ready programs.

Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

Brand Strategy & Positioning: Own the brand positioning and go-to-market narrative for assigned brands, ensuring core messages, audience storylines, and editorial priorities are translated into clear, compelling materials for advertising clients across relevant categories.

Editorial Communication & Opportunity Packaging: Lead conversations with editorial teams to identify high-value initiatives, tentpoles, franchises, and content opportunities. Package these opportunities into advertiser-ready programs that align with brand DNA and business priorities.

Sales Enablement & Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Sales Marketing, Account Strategy, Content Strategy, Design, and Research. Roll out new materials and opportunities internally, support sales conversations as needed, and help ensure the assigned brands remain top of mind.

Executional Leadership & Process Management: Manage timelines, prioritize deliverables, maintain high standards for storytelling and presentation quality, and help improve the efficiency and consistency of the brand marketing process across assigned workstreams.

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience:

7–9 years of relevant experience in brand marketing, pre-sale marketing, integrated marketing, publishing, media, or a related field.

Experience in the Beverage/CPG space is a requirement.

Experience developing and presenting advertiser-facing go-to-market materials and packaging opportunities grounded in editorial and audience insights.

Experience serving as a strategic cross-functional partner in a deadline-driven environment.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations in Keynote and PowerPoint.

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.

Understanding of the advertising and publishing landscape, including digital, social, print, and experiential opportunities.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to move initiatives forward and identify opportunities grounded in the DNA of the brand.

Ability to connect audience, brand, and marketplace insights to revenue-generating opportunities.

Strong judgment and comfort navigating ambiguity while balancing strategy and execution.

% Travel Required (Approximate):

Less than 10% - travel to brand events, meetings, or partner-facing opportunities as needed.

Pay Range

Salary: Remote: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
