Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Head of Human Resources, Global Services Finance to be located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

We are seeking a Head of Human Resources who will help shape the future of work, leadership, talent, and culture for the Global Services Finance team.

Purpose : In this highly visible role, you will serve as a strategic HR partner to senior business and functional leaders, translating enterprise priorities into organization, talent, leadership, culture, and workforce strategies that strengthen performance and accelerate growth within the scope of the GS Finance team globally across our capability centers.

You will operate as an enterprise leader, bringing the full power of OneHR to solve complex business challenges and create an environment where leaders and teams can do their best work. This is an opportunity for a strategic HR leader who is energized by enterprise impact, senior leadership partnership, transformation, and the chance to shape how Johnson & Johnson attracts, develops, and enables talent for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence business and organization strategy through workforce insights, organizational effectiveness, talent risk, and external market perspective.
  • Shape high-impact people strategies that enable leadership, culture, capability building, transformation, and responsible AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Partner across OneHR to deliver integrated solutions that improve business outcomes and the employee experience.

Organization Strategy and Culture

  • Set and execute the talent agenda for HR, connecting business priorities to organization design, workforce strategy, culture, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Lead organization and operating model choices within assigned scope that enable growth, innovation, transformation, and disciplined execution across a complex matrix.
  • Strengthen culture, inclusion, accountability, engagement, and organizational health through leader-owned actions grounded in Our Credo.

Talent Strategy and Future of Work

  • Build and execute integrated talent strategies across succession, critical roles, leadership readiness, retention, capability building, and pipeline health.
  • Advance future-ready workforce practices, including skills-based planning, internal mobility, digital capability, and AI fluency.
  • Equip senior leaders with clear talent insights and narratives that drive better decisions in business reviews, talent forums, and succession discussions.

Transformation and Change Leadership

  • Lead the people, organization, and culture strategy for business and enterprise transformations within assigned scope, ensuring clear sponsorship, adoption, and sustainable outcomes.
  • Anticipate workforce, leadership, and change risks, then guide leaders through ambiguity with practical plans and disciplined execution.
  • Use meaningful measures, including adoption, engagement, retention, capability growth, and business indicators, to assess transformation effectiveness.

Executive Partnership and Leadership Effectiveness

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on business, organization, talent, culture, workforce, and leadership decisions.
  • Coach senior leaders and teams to strengthen decision quality, accountability, enterprise thinking, and team effectiveness.
  • Bring the full OneHR ecosystem together to solve complex challenges and deliver simple, integrated, high-impact solutions.

Digital, AI, and Insight Enablement

  • Use data, analytics, external insights, and AI-enabled tools to strengthen decision quality, productivity, communication, and employee experience.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify work, improve organization effectiveness, and responsibly test new ways of working.
  • Model responsible AI practices, including human oversight, data privacy, ethical judgment, and compliance with company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or related discipline preferred.
  • Progressive HR or business leadership experience, including senior-level HR business partnership, organization effectiveness, talent strategy, transformation, or related leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders, translate business strategy into people outcomes, and operate effectively in a global, matrixed, regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in organization design, workforce planning, succession, leadership effectiveness, culture, capability building, and change leadership within assigned scope.
  • Strong analytical, business, and storytelling capability, with comfort using data, external insights, digital tools, and AI-enabled ways of working to inform decisions.

$150,000.00 - $258,750.00
