As a Head of Marketing Vision Care Benelux supporting the Vision Care business across Benelux , you will be trusted to lead the strategic marketing direction, drive commercial growth, and strengthen Alcon’s market leadership across the Benelux region.

From our office in Mechelen , you will play a key leadership role in translating global strategies into impactful local execution while developing a high-performing marketing organization.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• •Collaborating with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Supply Chain, and International Marketing teams to drive business growth and address market challenges.
• •Defining and executing the Vision Care marketing strategy across the Benelux region, ensuring achievement of sales, market share, profitability, and brand equity objectives.
• •Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing marketing team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• •Driving portfolio and brand performance through customer-centric marketing plans, competitive analysis, market insights, and successful product lifecycle management.
• •Managing marketing investments, forecasts, and business performance metrics to ensure optimal return on investment and sustainable growth.
• •Building strong relationships with key customers, opinion leaders, and external stakeholders to strengthen Alcon’s position as the leader in vision care.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• •Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
• •8+ years of marketing experience, including significant leadership experience within related industry. Previous marketing experience must have been gained within the last 5 years.
• •Proven experience in digital marketing, strategic marketing, portfolio management, brand development, commercial execution, and people leadership.
• •Strong analytical, financial, and business planning skills with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• •Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, lead through change, think strategically, and inspire high-performing teams.
• •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English. Dutch and/or French are considered strong assets.
