Are you ready to shape how businesses buy in Mexico? Amazon Business is looking for a sales leader to define the strategy and execute plans that help Mexican businesses transition their procurement to e-commerce. This role is focused on servicing our Commercial, Public Sector, and Strategic accounts — you will build and lead a team of account representatives, set and deliver revenue targets, run prospect acquisition and customer growth campaigns, and gather customer feedback to inform product and category decisions. You will use Salesforce, data-driven analytics, and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools to improve sales operations and create new efficiencies across industries such as retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and education.
You will influence procurement leaders, work across functions, and drive meaningful change as Amazon Business grows in Mexico. This is an opportunity to become a thought leader in Mexico's Business-to-Business (B2B) procurement community while building a high-performing, inclusive team from the ground up.
- Key job responsibilities
- - Lead and grow a team of account representatives, setting clear sales targets and coaching team members through development planning and strategic project assignments
- - Define regional territory plans and use Salesforce and data-driven analytics to track progress, identify risks, and prioritize opportunities across the customer base
- - Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Category Management teams to design and run customer acquisition and growth campaigns informed by GenAI insights
- - Negotiate complex deals alongside your team, align stakeholders across functions, and present business results in regular reviews with leadership
- - Build scalable workflows, service-level agreements, and process improvements that strengthen the sales infrastructure as the business expands
- A day in the life
- You might start by reviewing pipeline metrics in Salesforce and coaching an account representative through a challenging deal. Later, you join a cross-functional call with Marketing and Category Management to align on an upcoming acquisition campaign. After lunch you dig into customer feedback data to spot trends, then draft a short narrative summarizing quarterly results for leadership. You balance strategic planning with hands-on support, helping your team clear roadblocks and close opportunities while shaping the long-term growth playbook for Amazon Business in Mexico.
- About the team
- Amazon Business Mexico's vision is to be the most trusted B2B solutions provider for Mexican organizations of any size. We are reinventing the way businesses shop, helping procurement professionals across industries move from traditional purchasing to a modern, efficient e-commerce experience. Our customers range from individual professionals and small businesses to large institutions spanning retail, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and beyond. We are building an inclusive, customer-centric team that pairs entrepreneurial energy with data-driven decision-making. As we grow, you will have the opportunity to shape procurement processes across Mexico and develop into a recognized thought leader in the B2B space.
Basic qualifications
- - 8+ years of prior work in business development, sales, or sales-engineering, preferably in the technology, internet and e-commerce sectors experience
- - Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
