We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits team, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Atlanta Georgia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Candidates must be available for the full internship period: Monday, June 7th through Friday, August 13th 2027. We are unable to accommodate alternate start or end dates.
During this internship, you’ll work alongside Marsh’s 2,500+ U.S. Health & Benefits consultants that deliver disciplined and consistent approaches to benchmarking, data analytics, financial management, marketing, compliance, and communication. We will count on you to:
- Collect and analyze healthcare claims and utilization data, including cost projections and evaluations
- Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on behalf of clients
- Assist senior consultants in reviewing client needs, identifying suitable approaches, and supporting implementation strategies
- Model employee benefit contributions to help meet employer objectives
- Help prepare client deliverables and communications, including reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Support the National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans to create benchmarks of employers’ health and benefits plans
What you need to have:
- Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics, health administration, health policy, or a related major
- Currently enrolled in a college or university with an expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
- Preferred minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0
- Permanent, ongoing U.S. work authorization without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to work Monday, June 7th through Friday, August 13th in Summer 2027 (no alternate dates)
