• Full time, Permanent
• 14x14 continuous day and night shift rotation

Job Description:

• •Trouble shooting equipment and systems and performing repairs
• •Utilize Caterpillar SIS, VIMS and ET daily
• •Interface with Caterpillar, customers, product and sales support
• •Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
• •Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
• •Various related duties as required

Qualifications:

• •Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
• •Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract
• •3rd/4th yr HET apprentices may be considered based on experience
• •Strong knowledge/experience of 797F C175 haul truck
• •Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
• •Dedication to safety. A safety leader to help drive a strong safety culture
• •Completion of all Finning S-level courses
• •Strong computer skillset including ET and VIMS
• •Preference for advanced electrical troubleshooting skills
• •Tier 2/4 & C175 series engines experience
• •Experience in a mine or industrial setting is preferred

Important Notes:

• •This position is located at D05 Kearl Facility on a 14x14 continuous day/night shift rotation
• •Successful candidate will be required to stay in camp, while on shift
• •A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
