Title: Crew Member - Installation Laborer

Reports To: Seasonal Services Operations Manager

JOB SUMMARY: An Installation Laborer installs exterior lighting on commercial buildings and residential housing. Installers would be responsible to perform installation duties including hanging lighting while working on the ground, on ladders or using aerial lifts on houses, buildings, trees and shrubs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• •Install interior and exterior holiday décor including, but not limited to wreaths, trees, garland and light displays.
• •Work in a fast-paced setting with time sensitive tasks.
• •Load and unload product from warehouse onto work vehicles
• •Communicate all necessary information with supervisor to complete job orders
• •Monitor work orders and confirm details to ensure customer selections are processed correctly
• •Maintain vehicle in a clean and safe operational condition
• •Ensure customer site is clean and orderly when services are completed
• •Perform other duties as assigned or related

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• •Ability to work in all weather conditions
• •Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the seasonality of the position
• •Must be able to respond to all work requests at all times of day
• •Previous experience in installation
• •Valid Iowa driver’s license and clean driving record

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• •Ability to reach, push, climb, kneel, lift (up to 75 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time
• •Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and during adverse weather conditions as warranted by workload and schedule
• •Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
• •Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment
• •Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.
