Avid is hiring an RN - Per Diem for client assessments.

This position will be in-office and based out of the Mebane branch and covers Alamance and the surrounding counties.

Per Diem RN - Assessments

Responsibilities:

• •Manage client intake assessments from all referral sources.
• •Responsible for generating client plan of treatment and care plan assessments according to a physician’s order.
• •Build relationships with clients to encourage compliance with care plans and client safety.
• •Manage client/contract satisfaction with the highest level of customer service standards, communication, and documentation.
• •Follow up and document all clinical concerns and incidents within the agency’s timeframe.
• •Follow Agency Policies and Procedures and ensure all HIPAA regulations are adhered to.
• •All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Registered Nurse (RN) who is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON)

Licensure: Must have a current, unencumbered license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Must be in good standing in the applicable state of practice. Must maintain all state and federal compliance requirements for licensure and employment.

Travel: Travel is required for business purposes. The employee must have a valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they work, a satisfactory driving record, and an operational vehicle.

Work Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical experience.

• •Two years of nursing experience with compromised pediatric and adults.
• •Prior experiences that would encompass clinical, teaching, management and supervisory practice within a nursing service organization is preferred.
• •One additional year of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital, is required for conducting applicable training classes.

Hours of Work: As needed.

Skills and Additional Requirements:

• •A specific understanding of geographical/cultural requirements of branch office is preferred.
• •Must be customer service oriented and prepared to liaise with clients, their families and other care providers.
• •Ability to use computerized systems.
• •Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills.
• •Confident working independently.
• •Ability to work well under pressure.
• •Bilingual preferred, but not required.
